Great post, Ash, as always.

I was also thinking a lot about this, but I called it "own opinion" rather than the inner world. I found when I embraced my past, my roots, and my beliefs, I started to see my future clearly.

Spending time in your inner world/crafting your opinion becomes the most enjoyable thing to do daily.

One day, my wife went to put our kid to bed. When she came back, she asked: 'What did you do?' I responded: 'I was just... thinking.'

It wasn't a TV show, YouTube, movie, or even a book. I was just thinking.

Thank you for sharing this, Jurij! You make such a great point. Nowadays, as crazy as it sounds, it's rare to find oneself just thinking without any external input. I'll try!

This reminds me of "Happiness is a skill you can learn, a habit you can build" From Naval

Shows that we don't need much from the external world to be happy & joyful

Great read, Ash!

enjoyed this one. this isn't necessarily at odds with this idea, but i've been thinking a lot about how i can move the spotlight off of me and onto those around me. the less i think about me, the happier i tend to be.

Such a beautiful way to put it, Tadzio. If the goal is bigger than ourselves, all of a sudden, we ironically feel liberated.

Love this. The key unlock here is to stop caring about what other people think. Which is much easier said than done!

Thanks, Andrew. Good point, not caring about what others think is the ultimate life hack.

Great article.

"You have a mission, a goal, something that makes your inner world vibrant and alive." -- I'm curious to know if a single goal/mission approach is more "effective" on filling inner worlds than the multiple-goals approach. --

Glad you liked it, Juan. You pose a great question.

In my personal experience the more focused you are on one thing the easier it is to make progress and become obsessed. Think of it this way, to become great at one thing you'll need to learn adjacent skills anyway, so you'll have plenty of variety even if you focus on one goal.
