I usually say a prayer and fondly remember my parents who did so much for me.

This is a great idea. I teach college freshmen and many of them struggle with self worth and inadequacy. I will add this practice to our first year seminar!

I needed to read this. Often with life, we can get so busy working that's it hard to jump off what feels like a hamster wheel. Reading this helped me understand that it is important to pause and reflect on the good and the benefits of keeping a record to remind yourself of how you have impacted others and how their kind words can elevate and edify you in moments of doubt. Thank you!
