"Just don’t sit alone trying to think your way out of it." This is really great advice!! I love how simple it is but it also reminds me of how I can get in my head about a lot of things and have this decision paralysis but only until I talk about it to like my fiance or friends that I really get to see it's not as bad as my head made it out to be and it's really simple and not that complex 😬 just tiny steps 🤭
So glad this part spoke to you, Clare. When we try to overintellectualise things on our own, things can get overwhelming quickly because we have nothing or no one to bounce our ideas off, so they just run wild. All we need to do is touch some grass, talk to someone, and take some tiny steps!
Your thinking is always so sharp Ash 🤍 I relate to everything you’ve said.
I was making a visual last week about how successful people stay in motion by closing the gap between idea and action, but dreamers standstill. Procrastinating 😅
Hannah, this means a lot coming from such a talented person. Glad this piece resonates with you! It's time for you to stay in motion and finish that visual ;)
"...Until I replaced endless analysis with tiny actions..."
Ahh, this right here. Getting out of the rut is tough. Looking past all the bits and pieces that feel stagnant and stale. Thank you for the reminder that things aren't always as bad as we may internalize them to be, and there's always somebody out there who can relate and make you see the other side.
I can relate to this, I have been thinking similar concept but not able to initiate it, glad to see that it is scalable. My thought process is that I should continue to do something everytime to avoid the paralysis and overthinking/excessive screen time
