Absolutely true. I've been buying a lot of non-fiction these days and was starting to fee guilty about it. Yes, there are some books that helped me clear my head a lot, but the rest was just waste of money. I too need to go back to fiction. Thanks for the reminder!
This resonates with me. Really hard to keep up with the reading. Though there is a lot of good advice in non fiction books it’s not always as easy to apply in real life. I still see the value, but finding a good balance is hard.
I’d say history books are the only non-fiction category I’d exclude from this argument - they’re basically like great fiction, jam-packed with inspiration, life lessons etc.
