‘Ta certo! I studied and did research in Brazil, 25+ years ago. I loved a cultura, a gente, a natureza … fiquei apaixonada com o mar. (I loved the culture, the people, nature…I fell in love with the ocean.) I’ve held onto so many stories I’ve told myself about what I should or could have done better, when it’s all part of the story of my life. And, it’s how I narrate it- what spin I put on the story- that might determine how others see it and me. A blip in the screen of life doesn’t have to distract from the whole movie.
